Komagatake Ropeway (駒ヶ岳ロープウェイ Komagatake Rōpuwei ) is an aerial lift line in Nagano Prefecture, Japan. This is the only line Central Alps Sightseeing (中央アルプス観光 Chūō Arupusu Kankō ) operates. The company, a member of Meitetsu Group, also operates hotels and ski resorts. The line, opened in 1967, climbs Mount Kisokoma (木曽駒ヶ岳 ). Its summit station, Senjōjiki, is known as the station with the highest altitude in the country, 2,611.5 m (8,567.9 ft).
